Sanderson,
photographed for a 360° view consisting of 36 images at 10° intervals.
This example from around 1902 still has the original square cornered bellows. In this view the focus screen is revealed and all the movements exhibited. This example also features a contemporary modification, the fitting of a set of rear focussing pinions. The knob for this is just behind the main hatch hinge, and the pinion can be see running inside. Two appropriate racks are fitted to the lens supports. It was obviously a professional modification, but definitely not as it left the factory. Start the image spinning by putting your cursor over the "Spin" side of the image, you can pause the animation in any position by touching the "Pause" side.
